Sleepless in Los Angeles, maybe because she’s having trouble selling her house! That’s right, Meg Ryan from such hits like You’ve got Mail, When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle has her home on the market again for the 5th time, with a new lower asking price of 11 million 400,000 thousand. Back In 2008 she had an inflated asking price of close to $20 million. She relisted briefly for 14 million 200,000 thousand. The home is 6877 sq fet with 6 bedrooms….Maybe 5th time is a charm?
Did you ever watch the sopranos? Actor Michael Imperioli who played Christopher, the unfortunate nephew Christopher to Tony Soprano finally unloaded his 4 bdr townhome in Tribeca New York. He listed it in early 2010 for 7.5 million and got popped with a selling price of 4.95 million….Wow did he take a hit!

The Celebs rent too! And Madonna is rumoured to be selling?
Ok so some of our listeners may still rent and some celebrities do as well. I don’t really understand why they do? But they are not paying the average. Take New York Celebs….Funny man Robin Williams is paying 11% higher than the average in his four bedroom $15,000 a month in the upper west side, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Bros is forking out 53% above the average at $6900 a month for his digs and actress Meg Ryan is paying a whopping $25,000 a month which is 178% higher than the average rent in the same area! I think she needs another movie deal soon!
And very quickly, on another note If you are thinking of getting out of the rental pool, Madonna is rumored to quietly trying to unload her mansion just off Sunset Blvd in Beverly Hills for a bargain price of around 28 million dollars. Back in 2003 she purchased the home with then husband Guy Ritchie from actress Sela Ward.

Are we tired yet of hearing about the nasty breakups and divorces of the heartbroken celebrities? I know I’m not! And its standard procedure to begin liquidating their assets and split up the real estate holdings. Here are some more former love nests that may be hitting the market soon…
Heidi Klum and Seal, the current home they purchased for 14.2 million in 2012…we will have to see if this is a new hot property on the market.
Amazingly enough Ashton and Demi never purchased property together in their 6-year marriage, he moved into her mansion and placed his bachelor pad on the market for 2.6 million….
Then there is Katy Perry and Russell brand who had just purchased, Scarlett Johansen and Ryan Reynolds, and Arnold Swarchenegger and Maria Shriver. All who have property together…so, if you want to get a hot deal coming up just check out the latest tabloids for who’s breaking up and moving out!

Singer Sheryl Crow has a very unique kitchen in her home that rests on 154 acres in Nashville. With it’s high end appliances, a very good sized wine fridge and an eating bar that can seat more than six guests who can view the incredible fish tank that is floor to counter height right in the kitchen!
Men in Black, Actor Will Smith in the penthouse he recently rented in which he dropped $55,000 a month for had a neo-modern performance style kitchen which would be the dream of any reality master chef!
And word out there is that Brad Pitt and Angelina are not big cooks, not surprising, where would they find the time? This may be why Brads bachelor pad kitchen in Malibu looks more like a lounge in an upscale bar than a place you’d make dinner. Lack of Disclosure for Dennis Quaid and Michael Jackson last home for sale.
Here in BC disclosure is a big deal when selling your home. You must disclose any known issues to a potential buyer before the subjects are removed. In Celebrity Real Estate Gossip today actor Dennis Quaid is said to be suing the previous owner of the Austin Texas home they purchased in Feb. 2010 for just this reason, failing to disclose issues with the home. The Quaid’s are seeking to VOID the sale and an amount for damages for mental anguish, court costs and replacement housing. Some of the alleged issues, water ingress, a rat infestation, poor workmanship in renovated areas and a lack of the proper building permits. They have since moved to stay somewhere else as they feel the home is un-livable.

The home and everything in it is up for grabs as well. On DEC 18th everything in the home is going to Auction, just in time for Christmas! The current owners have tried to sell it unsuccessfully already but feel the constant stopping of cars in front to get a look at the home where Jackson met with his untimely passing could be a factor in why the home is still for sale. And that’s the Celebrity Real Estate Gossip!
