American icon Dolly Parton has put her fantastically-Dollyesque West Hollywood home on the market. This small two-bed, two-bath, Spanish-style house is just north of Santa Monica Boulevard. The listing notes that this was also the childhood home of actress Natalie Wood. The tiny piece of the Great Smoky Mountains in LA can be yours for $1.395 million..

Ashton Kutcher is selling his very glassy Hollywood Hills house, very quietly. He ended up renting it back in late 2011 for the insane price of $50,000 a month. When a then-house-hunting Justin Bieber started poking around the property, Kutcher scooped it up bought the place for $8.455 million.  it's not exactly an easy place to baby-proof, and Ashton and Mila his girlfriend are expecting.  The 9,385-square-foot house has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, is not officially listed, but is being shopped around for about $12 million.

The R&B diva was in the middle of several lawsuits claiming that her new modern pad was poorly constructed and resulted in water damage to the home when she listed it as a short sale for $4.5 million. Listed in November 2011, the home is located at 9152 Janice Place, Beverly Hills, and sold just a month later for $5.03 million. The Celebs rent too! And Madonna is rumoured to be selling?

Ok so some of our listeners may still rent and some celebrities do as well. I don’t really understand why they do? But they are not paying the average. Take New York Celebs….Funny man Robin Williams is paying 11% higher than the average in his four bedroom $15,000 a month in the upper west side, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Bros is forking out 53% above the average at $6900 a month for his digs and actress Meg Ryan is paying a whopping $25,000 a month which is 178% higher than the average rent in the same area! I think she needs another movie deal soon!
And very quickly, on another note If you are thinking of getting out of the rental pool, Madonna is rumored to quietly trying to unload her mansion just off Sunset Blvd in Beverly Hills for a bargain price of around 28 million dollars. Back in 2003 she purchased the home with then husband Guy Ritchie from actress Sela Ward.
